Maysoon Burger

I tried yesterday maysoon’s cheeseburger platter. Surprisingly, the platter contained 2 beef patties layed on a burger bun, coleslaw and a somehow fair amount of fries. There were 3 different types of cheese on it. The patties were not thick but tasted good, and you can actually enjoy the taste of the meat. They used a cocktail sauce for topping which tasted nothing like cocktail sauce, and I liked it a lot. Overall the platter tasted good, but it was a bit dry. I’ll surely eat it whenever I’m there. I’ll give it a 3 stars rating.

The Best Burger in Lebanon

I always wanted to have a reviews about restaurants and food in Lebanon. I started a while back cookies hunt but never continued it because of the lack of places that made cookies. Now I am starting the best burger in Lebanon review, then I’ll move to something else. I will be checking the price, taste, presentation and based on it I will rate the burger. The reviews might not include burger places like McDonalds, Burger King or Hardees, no I will review just normal cheap food places. So stay tuned.

finally I found a name for my senior project. i have been looking for a name since a decade with no luck. my final project will be a web application in php 5 and mysql. the idea behind it is to target a market that is not yet largely targeted by developers and where very basic few application existed. the final project will be basic compared with the final application which should be available in 2months. this application will come in 3 packages and will be commercial. well i guess many of you want to know what it is about, but no i’ll leave it as a surprise for all of you. once it’s released and in the final phase i might give a glimpse of it. rehab alpha 1 is on it’s way. stay tuned.

Hulu is on its way

Hulu aka Youtube Killer is supposed to be up by this night f0r beta testers. The login form is already there, but I still haven’t received my invitation yet, the only email I got from them is a confirmation that I will receive my invitation as soon as it’s ready so I’ll be waiting. Let’s hope there will be invites to give away. Hulu will contain full series videos along with full movies, I still don’t know if this service will be available for free when it’s open for public, but we’ll have to wait and see how good the site is. I will keep you up to date with all the details after starting the beta testing.

Cookies Hunt

After I read on Mark’s blog about Ben’s Cookie I realized that there’s no good place here serving cookies. The best one I ever tried was pain d’or. All the others were below normal. So today I decided to launch “The Cookies Hunt” project. I will look and visit different places serving cookies, write reviews about them and rate them and see which one will be the best place in Lebanon serving cookies.

Nando’s Addiction

Few weeks ago, my cousin told me he wanted about Nando’s and how tasty it was, so we decided to go.We tried the geant-casino branch. The place is nice, the waiters/waitresses are nice. We ordered Chicken Espetada and the other meat & cheese one I forgot its name. They didn’t take time to be done, it was like 15-20 minutes which is normal for a platter like this one. The chicken and meat were nice, not burned, just perfectly flamed. The rice was nice too, I ordered regular rice with no pepper in it and I added to it mild pepper sauce, I was afraid to order it with hot pepper and it would be tooooo hot for me. I had for desert African Coconut, which is coconut ice cream in real coconut shell.

I paid 17$ for the espetada, african coconut and a coke which is not expensive at all.

So if I would want to rate it overall, I will give it 5/5

After being away from blogging for a while and after loosing my previous domain which I didn’t like at all, I decided to get back to daily blogging. Well this is not the final name for my blog, this is all temporary until I find a name that I like and means something to me. There are so many things to talk about from food to electronics to design to programming to personal stories, so keep tuned.
